Wainwright, Alberta – Wainwright have made arrests following an investigation into a reported problem drug house in the community. On March 18, 2023, Wainwright RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on 5 Avenue in Wainwright. As a result of the search RCMP seized:
51 g meth
8 g of coke
Stolen copper wire and a stolen generator

RCMP charged Timothy John Davis (33), a resident of Wainwright, with numerous charges, some of which include;
Possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled substance
Possession of a controlled substance
Fail to comply with release conditions
Davis also had four outstanding warrants for his arrest. After a judicial interim release hearing, Davis was released and will be appearing in Wainwright Provincial Court on April 6, 2023.
RCMP have charged Lanny Peters-Bishop (23), a resident of Wainwright, with the following offences:
Possession of property obtained by crime
Fail to comply with release conditions
Bishop was remanded into custody and will be appearing in Wainwright Provincial Court on April 6, 2023.
“As a result of the hard work by the Wainwright RCMP members, we have been able to disrupt a known drug dealer in our community for a second time in less than 2 months. This should serve notice to individuals who continue to be a burden on our community that we are actively following up on all leads for drug distribution and stolen property,” says Sergeant Michael Miller, Detachment Commander of Wainwright RCMP.
