Fairview, Alberta – On March 17, 2023 at approximately 2:40 a.m., Fairview RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter in progress at a rural lease site located in Clear Hills County. RCMP located two individuals on site and they were arrested without incident. A 2005 Black Dodge Ram belonging to one of the suspects was also seized at the time of their arrest. RCMP obtained a judicially authorized warrant to search the truck and subsequently seized a quantity of break in tools.
Tyler Ellery Horne (33), a residence of Fairview, Alta., has been charged with the following:

Possession of break-in instruments (4)
Gerald Scott Lyons (57), a resident of Fairview, Alta., has been charged with the following:
Break and Enter
Possession of break-in instruments (4)
Drive motor vehicle without plate properly displayed.
Both individuals were released on an undertaking with a court date of April 26, 2023 in Fairview Provincial Court.
