Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police seized nearly $150,000 worth of drugs and charged a 19-year-old Edmonton man with trafficking offences.
Earlier this month members of the Crime Suppression Team initiated an investigation into drug trafficking activity. On March 23, 2023 police arrested a male without incident and following a search incidental to his arrest as well as the execution of a search warrant at a northside residence, police seized approximately 625 grams of fentanyl (worth $112,000) , nearly 400 grams of cocaine ($37,000), narcotic medications, more than $3,100 cash proceeds of crime and a vehicle.

Based on the activity observed during the investigation, it is believed the male was in the city to supply drugs to local dealers.
Dehandre Mabior Sayed, 19, of Edmonton, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Sayed is currently in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
