Sixteen kilograms of cocaine seized in drug trafficking investigation

Calgary, Alberta – We have charged a Calgary man in relation to a drug trafficking investigation that resulted in the seizure of 16 kilograms of cocaine from a residence in the southeast community of New Brighton.

On Thursday, March 16, 2023, police executed search warrants in the 3300 block of New Brighton Gardens S.E. and the 0 to 100 block of Pantego Lane N.W.

Officers recovered the cocaine, valued at $1.6 million, along with electronic money counters, an airsoft rifle and pistol, airsoft ammunition magazines and a body armour carrier from the residences.

As a result, Steven TSE, 36, has been charged with one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
