Athabasca RCMP request public’s assistance with found stolen property

Athabasca, Alberta – On Feb. 21, 2023, shortly after 7:20 p.m., Athabasca RCMP received a call for service reporting an assault and theft had taken place within Athabasca County. Athabasca RCMP members responded and through initial investigation identified a male suspect and a property he was associated to. Athabasca RCMP members obtained a search warrant for the property, which was executed in the early morning hours of Feb. 22, 2023 in the area of 45th Avenue, Athabasca.

As a result of that search warrant Athabasca RCMP recovered various stolen property items, including a new electric bike, and a skate sharpener with an approximate value of $2000. Athabasca RCMP successfully reunited most of the property with their owners. Athabasca RCMP is requesting the publics assistance in identifying and returning the item to its rightful owner.
