Athabasca, Alberta – On Jan. 24, 2023, Athabasca RCMP received a call for service from a business in the area of 50 Ave. Reporting suggested multiple thefts of catalytic convertors took place overnight on Jan. 22, 2023. Through investigation, RCMP members determined multiple vehicles had catalytic convertors taken from them while parked at the business location. Athabasca RCMP approximates a value of $30,000 in stolen property, damages, and property repairs.
Further investigation revealed an unknown male had entered the property shortly after 5:00 a.m., on Jan. 22, 2023. The male is described as:
light skin complexion
wearing light brown pants, a black sweater, and a black and white toque.
Potentially driving a dark colored SUV of unknown make and model
