This specific program targeted vehicles that were not in compliance with the Vehicle Equipment Regulations (VER), for example, loud exhaust, non functioning head lamps or tail lamps, broken or cracked windshields, window tint, tire width, etc.

In total, 60 violation tickets were issued under the VER. Violators, in these instances, were given a 4th option with their tickets which allows them 12 days to correct the deficiency on their vehicle. If the 4th option was chosen, once their vehicle was inspected and corrected, their ticket would be withdrawn.

During this operation, and along with the 60 violations issued, RCMP and Municipal Enforcement also had one vehicle with no insurance or registration, one suspended driver, and one impaired driver.
