64-year-old man dies following single-snowmobile crash in Kedgwick River, N.B.

Kedgwick River, New Brunswick – A 64-year-old man from Kedgwick, N.B, has died following a single-snowmobile crash in Kedgwick River, N.B.

On April 8, 2023, at approximately 4:10 p.m., members of the Saint-Quentin RCMP, Ambulance New Brunswick, Kedgwick Fire Department and the Department of Natural Resources responded to a report of a single-snowmobile crash near Little Main Road in Kedgwick River.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tree. The driver and sole occupant of the snowmobile, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
