Lethbridge Police successfully identify deceased man

Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police advise the deceased has been identified as a 41-year old Lethbridge man.

Police thank the public for their assistance in providing information that helped lead to his identification.

As this matter is non-criminal, no further information will be released.

BACKGROUND

Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police have been unable to identify a man found deceased at Henderson Lake Golf Course and are releasing a composite sketch in the hopes of generating information that may lead to his identification and the notification of his next of kin.

The man’s body was located March 31, 2023 in a pond on the golf course and following an autopsy at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary, his death was deemed non-criminal. All traditional methods of identifying the deceased have been unsuccessful.

He has a distinctive tattoo on the calf of his right leg that resembles Mickey Mouse hands forming the letters “LA.”

The man is believed to be approximately 20-30 years-old, with short dark hair and brown eyes. When found, he was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black shirt, black sweatpants and white Nike Air Force shoes. He has a distinctive tattoo on the calf of his right leg that resembles Mickey Mouse hands forming the letters “LA.”

The composite sketch and image of the tattoo are attached for release.
