Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of WRPS’ Youth Protection Unit have laid additional sexual assault charges against a Kitchener teacher.
On March 21, 2023, investigators received a report of historical sexual assaults, involving a teacher and a youth at a senior public school in the Forest Hills area of Kitchener.

As a result of the joint investigation by police and Family and Children Services of the Waterloo Region, Kahlil Deep, a 52-year-old male from Wilmot Township, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on May 15, 2023.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Youth Protection Unit have arrested a male in connection to an investigation involving a teacher at a senior public school in the Forest Hills area of Kitchener.
On February 2, 2023, police received reports of youths being sexually assaulted by the male suspect.
As a result of a joint investigation by police and Family and Children Services of the Waterloo Region, the male was arrested on March 16, 2023.
The accused, a 52-year-old Wilmot male, has been charged with eight counts of sexual assault and sexual interference in relation to the incidents.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on April 3, 2023.
