Island Lake, Manitoba – On April 20, 2023, at approximately 7:30 am, Island Lake RCMP responded to a suspicious death in Garden Hill First Nation.
A 36-year-old male was found deceased in an outdoor area, and his death was determined to be a result of homicide.
Two 16-year-old male youths were arrested and have been charged with Second Degree Murder.
They were remanded into custody.
Island Lake RCMP along with Major Crime Services, continue to investigate.
