Saskatchewan – On April 28, 2023, Saskatchewan RCMP received a report that Frederick Chickosis was not abiding by his court-ordered conditions. As a result of investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to comply with a recognizance.
On May 1, 2023, he was arrested by Lloydminster RCMP in Lloydminster.
He appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on May 4, 2023 (Information 24447388). In the interest of public safety, the Saskatchewan RCMP advises residents of Lloydminster and surrounding communities that Frederick Chickosis was released from custody on May 4, 2023 and plans to reside in Lloydminster.
He remains subject to the court order conditions listed below. He is now also subject to a probation order for the next 12 months with the following conditions:
He must live at an approved residence;
He must stay inside the approved residence from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.;
He must not possess or consume alcohol, cannabis or drugs that have not been prescribed by a medical doctor;
He must not enter or be in any place of which the main purpose is to sell alcohol, such as bars or liquor stores; and
He must have no contact or communication with anyone under the age of 16.
