Peace Regional RCMP seek assistance identifying suspect in mischiefs and thefts

Peace River, Alberta – On May 6, 2023, Peace Regional RCMP responded to several reports from homes where Doorbell Camera’s or other outdoor cameras had been cut down; some of the properties also suffered property damages as a result of these incidents which occurred in the areas of 94 Street, 96 Street and 77 Avenue in Peace River.

Surveillance was obtained and RCMP hope someone in the community may recognize the individual.

This suspect is described as:

Light to medium skin tone

Wearing a red hoodie with a logo on the front and grey toque

Carrying a tool, possibly a knife

RCMP have been told that more community members may have been affected and encourage reporting this to the Peace Regional RCMP.

Additionally, RCMP requests any community members to review their doorbell camera’s or outdoor footage from May 6, 2023 from approximately midnight until 7:00a.m. and to submit any footage clips they feel may be of some assistance; even if suspicious persons you believe are related are simply walking by your home, this could assist in narrowing down timelines or travel direction of the suspect.
