Fisher Branch, Manitoba – On May 7, 2023, at approximately 12:25 am, Fisher Branch RCMP responded to an injured female, at a residence in Peguis First Nation.
It was determined that the female was walking on Peguis First Nation, when she was attacked by several dogs. The female managed to get to a residence for help.
The 52-year-old female was air-lifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The RCMP has been informed by Peguis First Nation Chief and Council that the dogs thought to be responsible have been destroyed.
