Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP have identified the suspect in May 16, 2023 assault. A 21-year-old resident of Calgary, self-identified as the male depicted in the May 16, 2023 media release. The male has been arrested for assault and is to appear in Airdrie Court on July 6, 2023.

BACKGROUND
Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect in an assault. On May 16, 2023, at approximately 5:28 p.m., Airdrie RCMP were called to a Prairie Springs residence when the homeowner reported a suspicious male at the front door. The male began walking away as the resident parked their vehicle. The resident approached the male who said he was offering window and siding washing. The male did not have window washing equipment or sales material.
The male then assaulted the resident, who sustained minor physical injuries. Further investigation found this male had also been in the area on Saturday, May 13, 2023, around 11 a.m.
The male suspect is described as:
A light complexion male believed to be in his twenties with short, parted red hair
On May 16, he was wearing a green t-shirt, black shoes, burgundy pants, and a black Calgary back pack.
On May 13, he was wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes and the same Calgary back pack.
