Duffield Alberta – On May 27, 2023, Parkland RCMP received a report of found human remains in a rural area near Duffield and Paul First Nation. RCMP attended and the remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where the death was deemed a homicide. The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
RCMP are releasing the name of the deceased in hopes that witnesses will come forward.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Edmonton resident, Patrick Couterielle-Boyd.
Patrick has no known ties to the area where he was found. RCMP are asking for any information from the public that might help in the investigation.
