Saskatoon Police seize large amount of methamphetamine, fentanyl and oxycodone

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the execution of a search warrant on St. George Avenue.

In the afternoon hours of May 31, 2023, the Crime Reduction Team and Tactical Support Unit conducted enforcement action on a group suspected of trafficking drugs. Following the execution of a search warrant in the 2300 block of St. George Avenue, officers arrested five people and seized;

1.2 kilograms of methamphetamine

161.7 grams of fentanyl (purple, brown, and green)

2.4 grams of cocaine

587 oxycodone pills

18 unknown pills; sent for analysis

.32 calibre pocket pistol; loaded

Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking

As a result, a 33-year-old man and 25-year-old woman are facing charges relating to drug trafficking, weapons, proceeds of crime, and breach of probation. A 41-year-old man was arrested on a criminal code warrant relating to domestic assault. Two other women arrested from the residence were released without charges.
