McLennan RCMP seek public assistance identifying break and enter suspects

McLennan, Alberta – At approximately 5:15 a.m. on May 24, 2023, McLennan RCMP responded to a security alarm notification to a business in the area of 1 Ave NW. Upon arrival, RCMP found a broken window to the business and evidence that at least 2 suspect males attempted to steal an ATM.

The males are described as follows:

Male 1:

Wearing orange coveralls with yellow shoulder straps

Purple or blue ball cap with Toronto Raptors logo on the front

Dark long sleeve shirt

Gloves

Short, almost shaven hair

Light complexion

Patterned bandana covering face

Carrying a sledge hammer

Wearing black and white sneakers or work boots

Male 2:

Wearing a camo ball cap

Dark mask covering face

Dark, short cut hair

Light to medium complexion

Blue jacket

Dark pants

Gloves

Winter boots

McLennan RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this theft or identifying those responsible. This investigation is ongoing and McLennan RCMP request any community members or businesses in this area to review any security footage available at approximately 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m..
