Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police have charged a 37-year-old male in connection with an incident where a female out for a run was followed by a man in a vehicle.
On August 27, 2023 at approximately 8 p.m. a 32-year-old woman was running along Mayor Magrath Drive South. When she turned east along 6 Avenue South she observed a distinctive white truck driven by a lighter-skinned male with dark-rimmed glasses, following her. The vehicle pulled up ahead of her and stopped. As she continued running the same vehicle pulled up in front of her and stopped again. As she passed, the vehicle slowly drove by her, then stopped. The driver did the same thing a fourth time and continued to follow her as she turned down another street. When the woman encountered a group of people, the vehicle left the area and she was able to return home safely.
A photo of the subject vehicle was provided to police. The driver was subsequently identified and at approximately 10:40 p.m. he was arrested without incident at his northside home.


The accused and victim are not known to one another. The victim was randomly targeted.
The vehicle is described as a white Toyota Tundra truck with a web canopy on the box and an orange handprint decal on the top left side of the rear window.
Police believe the subject and vehicle may have been involved in other incidents and there may be additional victims. Anyone who believes they have been victimized in similar circumstances is asked to call Cst. Mike Fielding at 403-330-5214 and reference file 23020438.

Neil David Fox, 37, of Lethbridge, is charged with voyeurism, criminal harassment and mischief. Fox was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 18, 2023.
The investigation is ongoing.
