Airdrie, Alberta – On Aug. 29, 2023, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Airdrie RCMP were dispatched to a report of a male who had sexually assaulted a male youth. This offence occurred at the intersection of Veterans Blvd. and 8 St. in Airdrie, in the tunnel under Veterans.
The victim reports that a middle aged male, who was wearing a white robe and cloth head wear, approached him on the walking path and grabbed him in a sexual manner. The victim yelled at the suspect, who then walked away.
The victim was able to provide a good description of the suspect and a composite sketch was completed.
The suspect is described as:
A male of Middle Eastern, South Asian or East Indian descent
Approximately 40-years-old
5 foot 9 inches tall with a medium build
Dark hair, a moustache and a little facial hair on chin (greyish colour)
