Cochrane RCMP issue shelter in place for the community of Bow Ridge – LIFTED

Cochrane, Alberta – Cochrane RCMP advise that the shelter in place has now been lifted. Greg Deviat is still at large but not believed to be in that area.

Residents should still exercise caution. Charges are pending at this time and an update will be sent as soon as that information become available.


Cochrane, Alberta – (9:35 AM) Cochrane RCMP are issuing a shelter in place for the community of Bow Ridge, specifically residences on Bow Ridge Drive. Please stay inside and lock your doors.

RCMP are investigating a firearms complaint. It is believed the suspect, Greg Deviat, is armed with a firearm. He left his residence on a scooter. He was last seen wearing a black short and grey pants.

An update will be sent when more information becomes available.
