Jasper RCMP charge suspects with possession of stolen property; “spree of property thefts”

Jasper, Alberta – On Sept. 12, 2023, Jasper RCMP, in relation to an ongoing investigation into a spree of property thefts and “smash-and-grabs” from vehicles, arrested four individuals for which charges are pending.

Incidental to the arrest of these individuals, Jasper RCMP seized multiple items, including the following:




Mountain bikes


Various IDs

Multiple bags, duffel bags and suitcases filled with various items

Suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine

Jasper RCMP is asking assistance from the public in order to return the stolen property to their rightful owners. Anyone who has not lodged a complaint with regards to a recent stolen good is asked to come to the Jasper RCMP Detachment, with proof of ownership when possible, to make a complaint so that their property may be returned to them.
