Calgary, Alberta – Our Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred this evening in the northeast community of Marlborough.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. today, Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, we responded to reports of a stabbing at the Marlborough CTrain Station, located at 889 36 St. N.E. Upon arrival, police located a man suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital in life-threatening condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
We have six people in custody in relation to this incident and there is currently no danger to the public.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023. No additional information is available at this time.
This incident is not believed to be related to the suspicious death of the woman who died earlier today at the Foothills Medical Centre.
