Athabasca, Alberta – On June 16, 2023, Athabasca received a report of theft of a GPS base unit used for surveying from the area of the Lions Campground on Highway 813 . To date RCMP have been unsuccessful in locating the item and are asking for public assistance.
The unit is described as a Trimble R121 with serial # 6251F00659. It was taken with a tripod.
